Notice:
- УВАГА = Attention (В = V, not B).
- Кав'ярня = Café (apostrophe after В before Я).
- щодня = every day (Щ = shch).
- гривень = hryvnias (genitive plural after numbers 5+).

Skill 2: Gender & Agreement (Рід та узгодження)
Can you identify noun gender and make things agree? In Ukrainian, the рід (gender) dictates everything!

Це новий стіл. — стіл is masculine → новий, цей Це нова книга. — книга is feminine → нова, ця Це нове вікно. — вікно is neuter → нове, це Це нові друзі. — друзі is plural → нові, ці
Gender Rules (Рід):
- Masculine (Чоловічий рід): consonant ending (стіл, брат).
- Feminine (Жіночий рід): -а, -я ending (книга, земля).
- Neuter (Середній рід): -о, -е ending (вікно, море).
*Note: Some -Ь nouns are feminine (ніч).
